Hear three inspiring presentations from the Danish Technological Institutes group for additive manufacturing, Danish AM Hu,b and the Danish start-up company Zoles. 

The Danish Technological Institute does research within additive manufacturing and the associated materials and applications. They also offer 3D printing services to companies.  

AM Hub is the national hub for additive manufacturing who is tasked with raising awareness of additive manufacturing within the Danish industry.  

Zoles is a Danish start-up that produces individually customised 3D-printed soles for shoes using in-store 3D scanners.

Nikolaj Vedel-Smith from the additive manufacturing department of the Danish Technological Institute will:

  • Provide an overview of the most widely used technologies within additive manufacturing and their pros and cons
  • Show examples of the many different plastics, metals, and ceramics that can be 3D printed
  • Inspire you with the newest developments from the most recent additive manufacturing trade show
  • Describe how the Danish Technological Institute can support companies who wish to explore additive manufacturing

Frank Rosengreen Lorenzen from Danish AM Hub will enlighten you with a talk that highlights:

  • The unique properties of additive manufacturing 
  • Current commercial applications for additive manufacturing and new business models made possible with additive manufacturing 
  • Examples of Danish companies already using additive manufacturing  
  • How students can interact with the Danish additive manufacturing ecosystem 

17:30 - 18:00
Cecilie Lisberg Holst from Zoles will inspire you with a talk about: 

  • The idea behind Zoles and the history of the company  
  • The technology Zoles has developed 
  • Which challenges Zoles are facing bringing the new technology and business model to the market 
  • Possibilities for students to cooperate with Zoles 

It is free to attend, but you need to sign up using the green "Bestil billet" button. 

This seminar is held in cooperation with "Station". Please notice the seminar is held at the "Station" building in the old police station on Howitzvej, Frederiksberg.
