If you're new in Denmark, your local library is an excellent place to start.

Welcome to the library

The public library is open for everyone, it only takes a couple of minutes to become a member, and most of our services are free of charge.  All you need to do is to register - click here for more information about how to register.

In Frederiksberg you may choose between five libraries: Hovedbiblioteket, Biblioteket Danasvej,  Biblioteket GodthåbsvejBiblioteket KU.BE and Medborgercentret Nordens Plads .

Bring your family

Children all ages are welcome to join the library as well. We have books, puzzles, cds, games and much more for children all ages, from toddlers to tweens. We also offer lektiecafé where your children can get help with their homework.

And of course, you're always welcome to hang out, attend one of our concerts or workshops or relax in a quiet corner with a magazine or newspaper.

Once registered as a member, you may borrow our selection of books, dvds, music, magazines and games for both children and adults. Whatever you wish to know about a book or where to attend Danish classes - just ask. We're looking forward to welcoming you.
