Experience the stories unfold in the company of others. Everyone can participate – no preparation is needed. 

Every other Wednesday you can experience great literature in the company of others. We meet, read and talk about what we have been presented with in the text. 

There are no right or wrong answers or interpretations, only great and shared experiences of reading. 

Remember to book a free ticket so we know how many people are participating. 

What is Shared Reading? 

Shared reading is an interactive, reading experience, where the literary agent reads a text aloud to a group of listeners. A trained Reader Leader, reads a great novel, short story or poem aloud.

During the session, we pause and talk about what we have read. 

Reading the text aloud in real-time, means that everyone is involved in a shared, live experience. 

There is no need for group members to read aloud or speak – it’s fine to just listen. The idea is to create a space where people feel at ease. 

Everyone experiences the text in their own way, but the text provides a shared language that can help us understand ourselves – and others – better.
